Dear Parents, Guardians, and Members of the York Road Primary Family,
We are thrilled to announce that York Road Primary School will be hosting its first-ever Car and Bike Show:
- Venue: Portia Primary School Field
- Date: 18 October 2025
- Time: 11AM – 3PM
- Tickets at the gate:
- Spectators: R50 adults | R20 children (3–18) | Under 3 FREE
Food vendors will be on site – come hungry! Cash and card facilities will be available.
Don’t miss out on the action! Public parking available at York Road Primary.
Bring the family, bring your friends, and let’s make history at our first ever Car & Bike Show!
This promises to be an unforgettable day filled with fun, excitement, and community spirit!

Public parking will be provided on our school grounds for your convenience.

- Children (ages 4–18): R20
- Children under 3: Free entry

If you own a car or motorbike you’d like to display, we would love to have you involved! Please contact the Fundraising Committee at Fundraising@yorkroadprimary.co.za to register your vehicle and be part of the show.
🛍️ Interested in Hosting a Stall?
We also welcome parents or community members who would like to run a stall on the day. Please email the Fundraising Committee to receive pricing details and information on how to proceed with your booking.
This event is a major milestone for our school, and we are proud to share it with our amazing York Road Primary family. All proceeds from the day will go toward supporting our school and its learners, many of whom come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Your support will not only help raise funds, but will also show our learners that their community supports them.
