Re: Orientation Day

Dear Parents/ Guardians

We wish to welcome all new learners and parents who will be joining the York Road family in 2023. We trust you are well and eager to start your son/daughters academic journey with us at York Road Primary.

The new Grade R and Grade 1 learners’ will attend school on Saturday, 19^th November 2022 as part of their official orientation. It is compulsory for all 2023 Grade R and Grade 1 learners to attend Orientation Day.

Learners may attend Orientation day in casual wear.

We look forward to receiving our new learners at our ‘Drop & Go’ Area

UNIFORM SALE

Grade R uniforms and Grade 1 ties (R80) will be available for purchase. Stock of school ties are limited. Please note that only cash payments will be accepted.

ARRIVAL AT SCHOOL

Learners will access the school via the Drop and Go Area. Please check signage at the gates for your son/daughters access point.

PARKING

Please do not park at the access gates or on the bend in Lower York Road.

Parking is available in all the side streets. Please park away from the Access gates and walk your child to the entrance. Do not park across driveways. PLEASE OBSERVE ALL ROAD RULES!

Parents will not be allowed onto the school premises but are able to contact the school via:
