Circular 05/2025

We wish to bring the following to your attention:

1. The office has experienced cases of serious injuries reported over the last week. These cases have been reported to the office between 06h30 and 07h15.  Learners are left at school very early in the morning, while it is still very dark.  To ensure our learners’ safety, the security officers have been instructed to open the gates at 07h00, commencing from 27 May 2025.

Please make suitable arrangements to ensure our learners’ wellbeing.

2. Learners’ behaviour, in some instances, remain concerning. Parents are encouraged to ensure that learners behave within the parameters of the York Road Code of Conduct. An atmosphere of learning must remain the key focus in class.

3. Limited number of tickets for the York Road 175 celebrations, Jazz evening on 30 May 2025, remain available on Quicket, for parents who are interested.
