Mr Belal Paleker was a learner at York Road Primary School in the late 1970’s. Mr Paleker has maintained a close relationship with our school throughout the years.
We would like to thank Mr Paleker for his generous donation of a power inverter, that runs the admin PCs during loadshedding.
At York Road Primary School, we continue our vision of implementing technology that allows our learners to interact visually beyond the classroom walls. Chalk dust from the old chalk boards create a dust problem for the tech in the classrooms. Mr. Paleker has kindly donated laminate, and went over and above the call to invite donors to deliver wood to build white boards that will replace the chalk boards in the classrooms.
