Dear Parent
We are entering the final leg of our 2021 Academic year. The educators and learners require the support of our parents now more than ever. We urge parents to set time aside each day to help your son/ daughter prepare for the final Assessment period of the year.
ELECTIONS
The President has declared the 01 November 2021 a Public Holiday to accommodate the Municipal Elections. As a result therefore will be no school on Monday, 1 November 2021. The Red Group will return on Tuesday, 02 November 2021.
ASSESSMENT PROGRAMME
The Assessment Programme for Term 4 will start from the 17 November for Grade 7 and 22 November for Grade 1 – 6. It is therefore essential that your child attends school on a regular basis. We also appeal to parents to ensure your son/daughter is prepared for these Assessment Tasks and Tests.
DISMISSAL TIMES
Dismissal times for the remainder of Term 4 are as follows:
DATE | GRADE | MONDAY – THURSDAY | FRIDAY |
17 November to 13 December 2021
| R | 08h00 – 12h50 | 08h00 – 12h00 |

7 | 08h00 – 13h35 | 08h00 – 12h20 |
It is disappointing to note that many learners are still arriving late for school, some as late as 08h40. This is in contravention of WCED Policy. Many learners are also collected well after dismissal times.
Please be punctual when dropping and fetching your children as they will not be supervised after school. Collecting children after dismissal times places your child at risk.
