Dear Grade 7 Parents/Guardians

The Grade 7’s first week back has gone extremely well despite parent’s anxiety and apprehension about the learners returning.

 Thank you to all the parents for providing learners with the Covid Pack as requested in Circular 3.

“Learners are also advised to bring hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wet wipes, liquid soap and a toilet roll for personal use. These items should be labelled and kept in a sealed covid pack and it remains in their possession at all times. They are also encouraged to have their own stationery and textbooks as no sharing of any items will be allowed.”

Term 2 for Grade 7’s ONLY

Please be PUNCTUAL when fetching your children as they will not be supervised after school.

Pre-screening must be done by parents, at home, to avoid your child being turned away at the gate. If your child is ill, PLEASE keep them at home

CURRICULUM

We are using Google Classroom to support learners with the curriculum but this is not the same as class teaching. A Resource Pack including worksheets for the remainder of Term 2 will be provided. The use and completion of these worksheets will be explained via the Google Classroom platform over the next 6 weeks.

Resource Packs and Reports will be issued to all learners present at school tomorrow, 12 June 2020. The parents of learners who are not at school, may do a “Drive by Collection”  at the Drop and Go Area STRICTLY between 10h00 and 10h30 as educators will only be available during this time slot.
